Volleyball Recap: Wes-Del Warriors vs. Daleville Broncos
Wes-Del had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against the Daleville Broncos on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Warriors were not able to make up for their defeat to the Broncos from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.
While Wes-Del was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Daleville's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-9, 25-14.
Wes-Del's offense was headlined by Tori Ward and Joy Toney, who picked up two kills apiece. They got some help from Presley Durr and her five assists. Taylor Freeman controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
Daleville's win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.
