Basketball Recap: Fairley Comes Up Short

Fairley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Mitchell Tigers 40-7. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Fairley's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Mitchell, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-6.

Fairley will square off against Freedom Prep Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mitchell, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sheffield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
