Volleyball Recap: Spencer Kaufman and Gavyn Long Secure Win for Stansbury

Stansbury's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Park City Miners. This was a revenge game for the Stallions: when they faced off against the Miners back in March, they had to take a 3-1 defeat.

Stansbury walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-27, 25-20, 25-13.

Leading Stansbury to victory were Gavyn Long and Spencer Kaufman. Long had 17 assists and two aces, while Kaufman had 20 assists. Those two aces gave Long a new career-high.

The win got Stansbury back to even at 7-7. As for Park City, they now have a losing record of 8-9.
