Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Modoc). They blew past the Fall River Bulldogs 26-6 on Friday. The Braves haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.
Caelli DePaul made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out ten batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and five RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.
