If Powers Catholic was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Kearsley on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Chargers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Goodrich Martians on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Chargers in their meetings with the Martians: they've now lost five in a row.

Powers Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 19-13. As for Goodrich, they pushed their record up to 20-14-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.
