Soccer Game Preview: Paris vs. Lindale

The Paris Wildcats will head out to challenge the Lindale Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Paris is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.7 goals per game this season.

Paris is headed into Friday's following a draw, the team's first since December 17. Neither they nor Gainesville could gain the upper hand on Friday so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Meanwhile, Lindale waltzed into their matchup on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They never let the Vandals get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won eight contests by six goals or more so far this season.

Lindale pushed their record up to 13-5-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those three games. Paris' draw makes their record 13-4-2 this season.

Everything went Paris' way against Lindale in their previous meeting back in March of 2022, as Paris made off with a 4-1 win. Does Paris have another victory up their sleeve, or will Lindale turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
