Basketball Recap: Clayton Takes a Loss

Clayton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 88-84 heartbreaker at the hands of the Camden County Vo-Tech Warriors. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Thursday (78), the Clippers still had to take the loss.

Clayton's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Camden County Vo-Tech, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-8.

Clayton will take on Pennsauken Tech at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Clayton's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Camden County Vo-Tech, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, an 80-68 victory against Schalick on the 25th.
