Basketball Recap: Brady Didrickson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Interlake over Mercer Island

Interlake lost against Mercer Island back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Interlake Saints took a 54-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mercer Island Islanders. The contest marked the Saints' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Interlake lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Brady Didrickson, who posted five points in addition to ten rebounds and five steals. Those five steals gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of John Ottaway, who earned ten points and three steals.

Interlake's defeat dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Mercer Island, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 12-10 record this season.

Interlake does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mercer Island, they have already played their next matchup, a 65-47 loss against Bellevue on the 11th.
