Baseball Game Preview: Cato-Meridian Blue Devils vs. Pulaski Blue Devils

Cato-Meridian will challenge Pulaski at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, Cato-Meridian didn't have quite enough to beat Hannibal and fell 5-4.

Port Byron hit Pulaski with a six-run second inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Blue Devils came up short against the Panthers, falling 10-4. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pulaski now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Cato-Meridian, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Cato-Meridian was able to grind out a solid win over Pulaski when the teams last played back in April of 2025, winning 9-6. Will Cato-Meridian repeat their success, or does Pulaski has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
