Volleyball Recap: Clayton Comes Up Short

Clayton lost against Parkway South back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Greyhounds fell 3-1 to the Patriots. The Greyhounds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-14, 23-25, 25-16.

Sameer Power was the offensive standout of the game as he had 20 assists and four digs. Those 20 assists gave him a new career-high. Luke Wohldmann also deserves some recognition as he had his first kills of the season.

Clayton's loss dropped their record down to 6-10-1. As for Parkway South, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 17-11.

Coming up, Clayton will challenge Gateway Tech at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Parkway South, they will square off against St. Pius X at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
