Baseball Recap: Bixby Has No Trouble Against Jenks

Bixby won the last time they faced Jenks and things went their way on Thursday too. The Spartans blew past the Trojans 8-2. The result was nothing new for the Spartans, who have now won 12 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Bixby has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Jenks, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bixby will host Moore at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Jenks, they will welcome Westmoore at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Jaguars will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Trojans surely won't give up without a fight.
