Soccer Recap: Omaha Westside Falls Short Against Ranked Millard West

Omaha Westside faced Millard West in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Warriors fell 2-0 to the Wildcats. Omaha Westside were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Millard West apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Omaha Westside's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Millard West, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Omaha Westside will welcome Millard South at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Millard South's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Millard West, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Bellevue West at 7:00 p.m.
