Volleyball Recap: Whitnall Takes a Loss

Whitnall was the 2-1 winner over Watertown when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Falcons fell 2-0 to the Goslings on Saturday. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their offense was headlined by Kennedy Dezur and Sophia Tralongo, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Gabrielle Wynn and her 17 assists. Madelyn Schimmel controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Whitnall now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Watertown, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-1.

Whitnall didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Janesville Craig on the 13th. As for Watertown, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Waterford on the 13th.
