Rondout Valley dropped their record down to 5-3 on Wednesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spackenkill Spartans. The Ganders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Spartans earlier this season, when they won 12-0.

Ella Schoonmaker was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, she tossed 5.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits.
