Baseball Game Preview: Coahoma Bulldogs vs. Lamesa Tornadoes

The Coahoma Bulldogs will head out to square off against the Lamesa Tornadoes at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Coahoma will be strutting in after a victory while Lamesa will be coming in after a defeat.

Coahoma had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Stanton on Saturday. The Bulldogs never let the Buffaloes get on the board and left with a 10-0 win.

Meanwhile, Lamesa scored first but ultimately less than Stanton in their contest on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Buffaloes by a score of 4-3.

Noah Rodriguez made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Lamesa's loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Coahoma, their victory bumped their record up to 9-11.

Coahoma beat Lamesa 8-5 in their previous meeting back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
