Soccer Recap: Shawano Community Takes a Loss

Shawano Community came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 7-0 to the Stevens Point Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Shawano Community of the 6-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Shawano Community's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Stevens Point, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Shawano Community wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 5-0 defeat against Seymour on the 15th. As for Stevens Point, they have also already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Bay Port on the 15th.
