Winning always takes teamwork, but on Tuesday Noah Smith stepped things up a notch to give Morristown-Hamblen West the 'W'. Smith tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The performance also marked the fewest earned runs (zero) he has had since back in March of 2024.

Smith and Morristown-Hamblen West will head out to challenge Dobyns-Bennett at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Morristown-Hamblen West hasn't beaten Dobyns-Bennett recently, having gone 0-4 since April of 2015.
