Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Douglass). They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat the Hyde Park Thunderbirds 65-34. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Trojans have posted since March 8th.

Douglass' victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Hyde Park, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-3.

Douglass will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Millwood at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Hyde Park, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 67-54 defeat against Benet Academy on the 15th.
