Port Jervis' success was spearheaded by the efforts of Dylan Fox, who threw for 276 yards and five touchdowns while completing 86.7% of his passes, and Amato Natale, who gained 238 total yards and two touchdowns. Thanks to that big game, Fox is now up to 16 passing touchdowns on the season.
Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Port Jervis proved: they limited New Paltz to a paltry 2.9 yards per carry. The team can thank Benjamin Rivera for the heroic effort on defense: he. Port Jervis didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 15.3.

Marlboro Central's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Port Jervis, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.
Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Port Jervis has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 203.6 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Marlboro Central struggles in that department as they've been averaging 152 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
