Volleyball Game Preview: Juab Wasps vs. Canyon View Falcons

Juab is 2-8 against Canyon View since October of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Wasps will take on the Falcons at 6:30 p.m.

Juab lost 3-0 to Delta on Tuesday.

While Juab was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Delta's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-17, 25-21.

Juab's defeat came about despite a quality game from Cairo Bradford, who had 17 digs and three assists. Bradford has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last five times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kendall Heap, who had five digs and four aces.

Meanwhile, Canyon View waltzed into their match on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. Everything went their way against the Patriots as they made off with a 3-0 win.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-12, 25-16.

Canyon View's victory bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Juab, their loss dropped their record down to 9-9.

Juab might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Canyon View in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Wasps avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
