The Sam Houston Broncos scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Oberlin 105-26 at home. That 105-26 margin sets a new team best for Sam Houston this season.
Sam Houston's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Carter Malveaux, who scored 15 points along with five steals. That's the first time this season that Malveaux scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Blaine Davey, who scored 15 points along with three steals.
Sam Houston now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Oberlin, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.
Sam Houston will be playing in front of their home fans against LaGrange at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. LaGrange is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Oberlin, they will head out on the road to face off against Lake Arthur at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
