Volleyball Game Preview: Irving Tigers vs. Lake Highlands Wildcats

Irving is 0-10 against Lake Highlands since October of 2020 but things could change on Friday. The Tigers will challenge the Wildcats at 5:30 p.m.

Irving lost 3-0 to Richardson on Tuesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-18, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Lake Highlands had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They blew past the Cardinals 3-0.

Lake Highlands' got stronger as the match went on, holding MacArthur to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-5, 25-4.

Irving's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Lake Highlands, their win bumped their record up to 20-7.

Irving suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Lake Highlands in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
