Softball Recap: Booker T. Washington Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Booker T. Washington's offense. They came up short against the Maury Commodores on Friday, falling 15-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Mighty Bookers haven't been shut out since back in April.

Booker T. Washington dropped their record down to 1-12 with the loss, which was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Maury, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-4.

Coming up, Booker T. Washington will venture away from home to challenge Lake Taylor at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mighty Bookers are facing the Titans at the right time seeing as the Titans are stuck on a 15-game losing streak. As for Maury, they will welcome Manor at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
