Soccer Game Preview: Dayton vs. Porter

The Dayton Broncos will head out to square off against the Porter Spartans at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Dayton is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering West Fork just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw. The result kept the Broncos happy, as they haven't lost a game since January 11th.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Porter was forced to settle for a draw. They played to a draw too, finishing 0-0 against West Fork. The draw was nothing new for the Spartans, who haven't lost a contest yet yet this season.

With that draw, Dayton's record moves to 5-3-3. As for Porter, they moved theirs to 7-0-1.

Dayton came out on top in a nail-biter against Porter in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. Will Dayton repeat their success, or does Porter have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
