Softball Recap: Strawberry Crest Chargers vs. Freedom Patriots
While Strawberry Crest put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Freedom. The Chargers put the hurt on the Patriots with a sharp 18-0 win. This was payback for the Chargers, who suffered a 3-2 loss the last time these two teams met.
Destiny Bryant made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.
