Volleyball Game Preview: Baraboo Thunderbirds vs. Fort Atkinson Blackhawks

The Baraboo Thunderbirds will challenge the Fort Atkinson Blackhawks at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

On Saturday, Baraboo didn't have quite enough to beat Beaver Dam and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, Fort Atkinson came up short against Reedsburg on Saturday and fell 2-0.

While Fort Atkinson ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-20.

Baraboo's loss dropped their record down to 14-21. As for Fort Atkinson, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-17.

Baraboo beat Fort Atkinson 3-1 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Will the Thunderbirds repeat their success, or do the Blackhawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
