Soccer Recap: Airline's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak at Home

Airline entered their matchup against Neville on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Airline Vikings fell just short of the Neville Tigers by a score of 1-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 4-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2019.

Airline's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-2. As for Neville, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Airline will welcome Evangel Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Airline is facing Evangel Christian Academy at the right time seeing as Evangel Christian Academy is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Neville, they will look to defend their home pitch on Saturday against St. Amant at 11:00 a.m.
