Soccer Recap: Saginaw Takes a Loss

Saginaw was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Aledo Bearcats. While losing is never fun, the Rough Riders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 577th, while the Bearcats are ranked 94th).

Saginaw's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Aledo, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-2.

Saginaw will host Chisholm Trail at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Aledo has already played their next game (against Granbury), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
