Baseball Recap: Sheboygan South Takes a Loss

Sheboygan South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 24th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Green Bay Preble Hornets, falling 12-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Redwings of the 13-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Sheboygan South saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase Bohman, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. That hit was Bohman's first of the season.

Sheboygan South's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Green Bay Preble, the win keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.

Coming up, Sheboygan South is taking a road trip to challenge Sheboygan North at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Redwings are facing the Golden Raiders at the right time seeing as the Golden Raiders are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Green Bay Preble, they will host De Pere at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Redbirds' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Hornets' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
