Basketball Game Preview: Upstate Falcons vs. St. Joseph's Catholic Knights

Having just played yesterday, the Upstate Falcons will head out on the road to face off against the St. Joseph's Catholic Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Monday, Upstate didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Mountain View Prep, but they still walked away with a 48-44 victory.

Meanwhile, St. Joseph's Catholic really took it to Travelers Rest for the full four quarters, racking up a 56-20 win. The Knights pushed the score to 54-16 by the end of the third, a deficit the Devildogs cut but never quite recovered from.

Upstate better focus on containing Tiffany Helmer and Evie Adams as the pair were huge in St. Joseph's Catholic's win. Helmer posted 19 points and five steals, while Adams had 17 points and four steals. Adams is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Eva Cifuni, who earned four steals.

St. Joseph's Catholic's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Upstate, their record is now 2-0.
