Baseball Recap: Miles Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Miles and Stamford squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Miles had to settle for second. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Stamford. The loss continues a trend for Miles in their meetings with Stamford: they've now lost five in a row.

Miles' defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Stamford, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Miles nor Stamford have any future games scheduled.
