Soccer Recap: Mountlake Terrace Takes a Loss

Mountlake Terrace was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Shorecrest Scots. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Shorecrest this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on April 1st.

Mountlake Terrace's loss dropped their record down to 3-9-2. As for Shorecrest, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mountlake Terrace will head out to take on Jackson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Shorecrest, they will venture away from home to square off against Lynnwood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
