Soccer Game Preview: Seneca vs. Franklin County

The Seneca Bobcats will take on the Franklin County Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Franklin County took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Seneca, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, Seneca needed a bit of extra time to put away Pickens. While the 3-3 score might suggest a draw, it was the Bobcats who were credited with the victory. Seneca got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to Pickens' four. The win continues a trend for Seneca in their matchups with Pickens: they've now won six in a row.

Franklin County had been on a three-game streak of scoring at least four goals, but Walhalla put an end to it on Tuesday. The Lions came up short against the Razorbacks, falling 8-1. Franklin County's defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Their goal came courtesy of Eli Cooling, who's now up to 18 this season.

Seneca now has a winning record of 6-5-1. As for Franklin County, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.
