Basketball Recap: Immanuel Christian Comes Up Short

Immanuel Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 29-22 to the Patterson Institute Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 30-13 last Friday.

Despite the defeat, Immanuel Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore T'Mara Simon posted four points in addition to 25 boards and three blocks. Those 25 rebounds gave Simon a new career-high.

Immanuel Christian's loss dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Patterson Institute, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-8.

As of now, neither Immanuel Christian nor Patterson Institute have any future games scheduled.
