Volleyball Recap: Friday's Loss Ends Huntley's Winning Streak

It was a good run, but Huntley unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-match winning streak on Friday. They fell 2-0 to the Marist RedHawks. The Red Raiders were not able to make up for their defeat to the RedHawks from their previous meeting back in October of 2022.

Summer Massow paced Huntley's offense, picking up four kills. Massow got some help from Abby Whitehouse and her eight assists. Mia Jacobelli controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Huntley's loss dropped their record down to 12-4. As for Marist, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 18-3.

Coming up, Huntley will square off against Berkeley Prep at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Marist, they will take on Skutt Catholic in a tournament on Saturday.
