Basketball Game Preview: North Lenoir Hawks vs. Kinston Vikings

Having just played yesterday, the North Lenoir Hawks will head out on the road to face off against the Kinston Vikings at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.

On Wednesday, North Lenoir didn't have quite enough to beat Greene Central and fell 41-38.

Meanwhile, after only 23 points in their last matchup, Kinston made sure to put some points up on the board against West Carteret on Monday. Kinston secured a 70-64 W over West Carteret. The win continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won three in a row.

North Lenoir has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season. As for Kinston, their record is now 19-3.

North Lenoir came up short against Kinston when the teams last played two weeks ago, falling 57-48. Can North Lenoir avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
