Basketball Recap: Casteel Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Casteel entered their contest against Perry on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Casteel Colts took a 53-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Perry Pumas.

Casteel's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-8. As for Perry, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-10 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Casteel will venture away from home to challenge Basha at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Casteel is facing Basha at the right time seeing as Basha is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Perry has already played their next match (against Xavier College Prep), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
