Westminster Christian is a perfect 4-0 against TERRA Environmental since February of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. Westminster Christian not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since February 26th. They put the hurt on Western with a sharp 13-1 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.
Westminster Christian got a great performance from Aaron Hernandez as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Hernandez also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because the Warriors are 4-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 7-8-1 otherwise.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Lucas Argudin, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in doubles (two). Another player making a difference was Bryan Borges, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI.
Westminster Christian lost a few balls and finished the game with four home runs. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post two or more home runs.
Meanwhile, TERRA Environmental got the win against Coral Park two weeks ago by a conclusive 9-3. TERRA Environmental hasn't had any issues with Coral Park recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Xavier Hernandez was incredible, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That triple marked the first that he hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Gutierrez, who went 1-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
TERRA Environmental pushed their record up to 6-6-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Westminster Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 11-9-1.
Westminster Christian was able to grind out a solid win over TERRA Environmental when the teams last played back in April of 2024, winning 9-6. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will TERRA Environmental turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
