Volleyball Recap: Pickens Comes Up Short

Pickens was the 2-1 winner over Sonoraville when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Dragons fell 2-0 to the Phoenix on Thursday. The Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pickens was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-22.

Pickens' defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Sonoraville, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pickens will head out to take on Woodland at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sonoraville, they will venture away from home to square off against Northwest Whitfield at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
