Arcanum had won three straight at home, but on Thursday they bumped up to 16-8 to make it four. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Tri-County North Panthers 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Trojans have posted since April 10th.

As for Tri-County North, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-6. They haven't had much luck with Arcanum recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

For Tri-County North's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bella Cherry, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Arcanum didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 14-0 victory against Fort Loramie on the 9th. As for Tri-County North, they have also already played their next game, an 8-1 loss against Southeastern Local on the 8th.
