Baseball Recap: Forest Hill Takes a Loss

After flying high against Okeechobee last Wednesday, Forest Hill came back down to earth. The Forest Hill Falcons fell 7-4 to the South Fork Bulldogs on Friday. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Forest Hill got a good showing from Giomar Hernandez, who pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

On the hitting side, Forest Hill saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aaron Moreno, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Forest Hill's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for South Fork, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Forest Hill will face off against Palm Beach Central at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for South Fork, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Centennial at 6:00 p.m.
