Volleyball Recap: East Ridge Comes Up Short

The East Ridge Raptors came up short against Hmong Academy on Wednesday and fell 3-1. While the Raptors didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating Hmong Academy 25-16 in the first set.

East Ridge started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 16-25, 25-19, 25-21, 25-19.

Matthew McKenna paced East Ridge's offense, picking up ten kills. McKenna got some help from Lucas Vang and his 20 assists. Elisha Redmann controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

East Ridge has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season. As for Hmong Academy, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

As of now, neither East Ridge nor Hmong Academy have any future games scheduled.
