Flowing Wells came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Mountain View Mountain Lions, falling 3-0. The Caballeros have struggled against the Mountain Lions recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

While Flowing Wells ultimately came up short, they really made Mountain View work, particularly in the third set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-17, 27-25.

Grace Howell paced Flowing Wells' offense, picking up five kills. Howell got some help from Rhyleigh Marshall and her 16 assists. Marshall was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.
