After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Roosevelt, Sunnyside was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Fresno Warriors with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Sunnyside was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-13, 25-20.

Sunnyside's victory bumped their record up to 7-18-2. As for Fresno, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-21-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Sunnyside is set to take on their familiar foe Madera South at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Fresno will square off against rival McLane at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
