Basketball Game Preview: McCallum Knights vs. Cedar Creek Eagles

The McCallum Knights will venture away from home to square off against the Cedar Creek Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

McCallum will head into Friday's match out to bounce back: they won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Friday. They came up short against Anderson, falling 61-38. The loss continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now lost eight in a row.

Meanwhile, Cedar Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 37-36 heartbreaker at the hands of Navarro.

Cedar Creek's loss dropped their record down to 1-23. As for McCallum, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-16.

McCallum took their victory against Cedar Creek in their previous meeting on January 3rd by a conclusive 58-32. The rematch might be a little tougher for McCallum since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
