Baseball Game Preview: Cook Hornets vs. Colquitt County Packers

The Cook Hornets will take on the Colquitt County Packers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Cook has three straight victories, Colquitt County has six straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Cook's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They walked away with a 5-0 win over Jackson.

Meanwhile, Colquitt County didn't have quite enough to beat Jeff Davis on Saturday and fell 4-3.

Cook's victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0. As for Colquitt County, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Cook was able to grind out a solid win over Colquitt County in their previous meeting back in April of 2021, winning 5-1. Will Cook repeat their success, or does Colquitt County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
