They were beaten by the Quarry Lane Cougars 74-10. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-4.

Alvin Evans was California School for the Deaf's leading scorer, having posted four points. Jamason Harmon held things down on the boards with four rebounds.

California School for the Deaf's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Quarry Lane, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

While California School for the Deaf had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
