Campo Verde came tearing into Thursday's matchup with 13 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 37.3 points), and they left with even more momentum. They breezed past the Arizona College Prep Knights to the tune of 56-0. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Coyotes considering their ten-point performance the game before.

Amaya Moreno produced another solid performance throwing for 246 yards and five TDs while completing 78.9% of her passes, and also rushing for 133 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 13 carries. Those 133 rushing yards gave her a new career-high. Jaiyana Bogan-Jacobs was Moreno's top target, picking up 135 receiving yards and three scores.

Campo Verde didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Bogan-Jacobs.

Campo Verde's victory bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Arizona College Prep, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Campo Verde will host Chaparral at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Arizona College Prep, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Centennial at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
