Monte Vista extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Sofia Fraioli. The Mustangs came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the San Ramon Valley Wolves thanks in part to Fraioli, who had 15 digs and three assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

The victory didn't come easy: San Ramon Valley scored at least 12 points in every set. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-19, 25-22, 21-25, 15-12.

Monte Vista's win bumped their record up to 15-6. As for San Ramon Valley, their defeat ended a 15-match streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 17-3.

Monte Vista wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Livermore on the 30th. As for San Ramon Valley, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Foothill on the 30th.
