Bay Area Christian came tearing into Thursday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the First Baptist Christian Warriors an 8-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Broncos, who have now won six games by six runs or more so far this season.

Bay Area Christian's win bumped their record up to 11-5. As for First Baptist Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6-1 record this season.
